Title: offline issues yet again
Post by: dhart on August 05, 2012, 03:25:33 PM: Everytime they come out with a new version of something the offline missions for whatever reason seem to have issues. My new issue is as follows, havent played in awhile so I download the 3 or 4 latest updates and go to do some offline missions. I then find out some things have changed to where I have no missions to choose from. So I come on here and see theres some new thing called staged missions, oh joy. :furious I follow Coogans instructions of unzip this, open this, put these two files in this folder, put the other two in this folder and viola! Except for the viola everything else was done exactly as the directions said to do and I still have no missions to choose from. Now my question, how do I get to play the missions if I followed the instructions and cannot see any of them even when I check see all mission with different terrain? :mad:

:salute to the mission makers - now I'm not sure how to make them work - trust me it is probably me ! :x
PS - Ranger get that bomb / tank range fixed for this version Preeeeez

I have some .mis files in the missres folder, yet when I go to staged missions, select missions, there are none available.

Any help appreciated.

For people having troubles making Coogan's stg. missions work, just place ALL .mis files into misstemp folder in Aces High. The rest place in ur missres folder. Now enjoy Coogan's labor :aok

Congrats Coogan, been enjoying all of ur missions since yesterday, likewise found out that I'm lousy against AI :uhoh

Post by: hitech on August 06, 2012, 08:37:18 AM: mis files are only the source files for the editor.

You must build a mission , (it creates a .res file with the .mis file and any other sound or texture you include). When you build from the mission editor it will automaticly end up in the missres folder for the game to see it.

The game will only run a .res file.

IF you are having crashes PLEASE send us the mission .res file.
