:airplane: AM sure I'll get all kinds of smart A** replies to this. But my Idea is this, since we have a major problem with any given two countries ganging up on the other. How if HTC established a monthly perk bonus, (50 to 75 points)to the country that has the most map wins in one months time. For a player to qualify for said bonus, they would have had to fly with said country, x amount of hours ( 96 to 106). My thinking is it would help get back to the original idea of the game play. ( which has been lost on a lot of players) and may help deter the mass two country rapping's that occurs way to often. and maybe eliminate some of the stale mate maps. Just a thought ;)

that's 20 to 25 hours a week. I am cool with that. midway does about that many in one day and he's on my squad :banana: :banana: :banana: :banana:.

The original idea was to fight... not capture bases.
You can't fight if you have no fields to take off from but.......aces high has shielded us from that horrible fate to the point that you can look at the map and not really tell who is about to win the war.
At the other sims I fly, the reset isn't triggered until the losing side has only one base left.
Those settings have contributed to some epic comebacks and battles people still talk about years later.
Too bad because I really liked it.

I don't think perks are a motivation for anything...most players have more than they can spend.

The original idea of gameplay is combat using WWII equipment. Base captures is just one mechanism HTC added to create combat (something which has been lost on a lot of players).
You already have to be on the "winning" side for 12 hours to get the "win the war" perkies. This happens for every player within those parameters every time a map is reset, whether they are online at the time or not. Players could potentially get more than 50-75 perks this way each month, so why is this "perk bonus idea" any incentive to solve the OP's "problem"?

The idea is not to take away the map win perks but to add additional perks to it.the perk point I provided were meant as an example

Forcing a paying subscriber to not be able to do what they want is not a very good idea. In more importance you wish to reward players for rolling bases, which would bring up the horde argument.
Further if you are worried about two countries rapping, don't be, most of us probably are not musically inclined. If you meant Raping, that would be in conflict with your wish in which you are requesting that players be rewarded for staying on the "winning" team.

if he's so concerned about countries ganging up on the other and hording then the proper perk bonus idea would be to give perks to the country that takes the least amount of bases.
