I disconnected in flight, and the reconnect feature worked, but when I hit WEP, it responded as if it was exhausted.
I only tapped WEP a few times prior to being disconnected, but I was't running with it on, so I wouldn't have been using it.
This was in a 38-J. I have a film, or films, if it helps.

Was the temperature gauge in the red?

No. Verified by looking at the film also.

It is a side effect of getting discoed. Your WEP will recover but it's exhausted when you come back in. Maybe the AI must be treating your plane like a rental car while you're gone. ;)

Awesome line for the splash screen I think.

More like your 11yo nephew one summer vacation with the oldest tractor that used to still run and that was parked in uncle Fred's barn.
I expereinced this issue on Friday evening after discoing and reconnecting shortly after taking off in my Dora and leavign it on auto-climb with WEP on. I found it most odd that I had 100% internal, ~85% external (300 litter tank), and a red-lined engine (if this weren't a game :uhoh :bolt: ).
