Stirling was a useless pos that was detested by its crews and was forced to fly below and behind the rest of the bomber stream, where it got torn up by nigt fighters.

I generally advocate for the Wellington Mk III as it is earlier, but the Mk X could work as a generic, fits all Wellingtons version.

apart from the weight and power they should be pretty much identical right? one 3D model and 2 versions with a big performance and time gap for different scenarios :aok

(were the III and X the most produced variants?)

edit: the new damage effects on control surfaces suggests the Wellington damage could be done quite well I imagine, should make for some great screenshots of those limping-home landings :D

How about the PBY!! :aok

Carries little ord and poor defensive armament. Total hangar queen.

H8K would be the only flying boat that would see plenty of use in the MA.

Ju-188
He-111 (a BoB and a LW variant)
Wellington
Do-217
A-26
Tu-2
Handley Page Halifax (I know, Lancaster clone, but it'd be nice to get some variation, not at the top of the wish list though for sure)
Il-10
B-25J
He-177
B17E
B24D
D4Y Judy
H8K
