the AVA is unleashing its Line Of Fire Wars. 8 setups, 1 surprise setup, and lots of fun. you determine the outcome. battles will be held on Tuesday Nights! pick a side and help determine the next weeks setup. see link for more details!

Even if I wasn't an AvA regular, I would find this a new, fun & refreshing way to play the game.  I'm very much looking forward to it. :aok

Well, I think it's pretty original. We had a lot of help in the concept from in and outside of the AvA community.

Never heard of anything quite like it. Winners get to choose each following battle in the overall war. :aok

It is a quite dynamic setup, I think it could get really interesting if even some squads tried it out, deciding who gets to choose the next battlefield sounds like a good reward in playing as a team.

We are pressuring AvA staff to fly this, so it's going to run even if just a few of us square off against each other.

I have not been in the AVA since the no-icons was first introduced (which I loved by the way), this looks interesting.  I think I will give this a whirl.

Which side you want forum access for voting, Axis or Allied?

OK your'e in. Go check out the forum there's more info there, description of the battles to choose from, FAQ, sample poll.
