Title: GV vs. Aircraft main gun bug

 Do not even need to hit AC with a main gun round to bring it down near miss does it . Did it in MW a little bit ago . I have film of it but do not want to post it . I think it can be exploited . I fired 3 rounds for 3 kills . Only hit with one round . Still a stupidly high hit rate for a tank main gun . If anyone at at HTC wants film let me know .

what, you shot an HE round into the ground to kill the plane with the explosion blast?

No . Not sure anymore if I hit him at all . Need someone better than I am to look film over . I have a very hard time telling on my film .

Not saying you didn't find a bug in your case, but for what it's worth, the last 3 times I hit a Storch with a tank round, it only knocked off the landing gear.  One hit was HE, too (!!!).

It's not a bug.  It's the fact that airplane drivers are frequently foolish enough to strafe so low that the splash of an HE round will take them out.  I like exploding mine off of trees and buildings the most.   Worst case Ontario, you have to use AP but luckily the face of an airplane is large enough to hit when flying directly at you on the deck and will kill the plane.

This afternoon I was in a T-34 and managed to main gun an enemy fighter from 1.6K

I have shot many A/C down with the main gun at close range. Even took the wing off a Lanc once at 1500.
Never did I take them down without seeing the hit flash just as with any GV that I shoot.

I have shot bombers down with rockets before too and thats not easy either.
