325th VFG concurs.  The "8th AF" scenario's compare nicely with the "BOB" scenario's for fun and playability.  We all appreciate the efforts that go into making these happen <S>

More 8th AF and BOB scenario's then???

G3-MF concurs ... interesting and tough scenario for the Luftwaffe (and not a bad representation if you consider the historical outcome).

We took our 11 plane main body into 30 Allied escort fighters and LOTs of Buffs:

- Forced to fight at a disadvantageous altitude band

- Popped a couple, tried to drag the escort fighters down away from the Buffs for our FWs and 410s to follow up on the Buffs

- Collapsed our scouts into the fray at the first reasonable moment.

  -- took heavy losses.

Sounds like what happened to me.

<S> to ALL the FSO folks on both sides (CMs and Players)  We had fun!

:salute

Yes Sir {The GunFighters} had a blast as well. We ended up with frame 1 and 2 being very action packed. Frame 3 was not as exciting for us, but sometimes thats the way the dice roll. Thanks to everyone for there hard work in setting this event up  :salute

ya know? i can't even imagine retiring. partly due to not being very smart with my money....and partly due to not being able to imagine not going to work.
