Nice job.  When I saw the title I expected it to be more like this.

Thanks for taking the time to add all the little details like proper nose art for dogfite's wing and the dead sheep.  The owner of the two way petting zoo thought we were a bit odd for hiring them to do a funeral reception.  Still waiting to hear back from the insurance agent to see who has to pay for the dead sheep.

Not too bad of a party.  The sheep still has a lot of wool on it AND, it's still standing. :)

Dallas wasn't a bad man just a little misunderstood, after he was done cussing a nice enough chap really, made me chuckle. I will raise my glass to his well being and hope he can return one day.

I loved chasing vDallas's D-9 around while 5-6 of his squaddies jump in to save him...

But what I loved even more was the sheer whining via Pm's and vox whenever he died...

I need to dig up my screenshot archive for a good laugh...

Let's keep it civil guys.

Please.

Incidentally, this may have lit the necessary fire under vDOGFITE's arse and he has returned as of today.  We all went on a PT boat ride together to celebrate.

Dallas gets/got "singled out" because of his low class actions in the air and with
text and vox comms. His sophmoric direct vox pm's to pilots along with his
text PMs are the stuff of (poor) legends. I personally am quite glad to
see him gone. The only thing which saddens me is not knowing if his
squadmates gave him the boot, or if HTC finally revoked his flying
privileges. I'd LOVE to hear the details either way.  :D

We didn't give him the boot.

We did institute a squad policy of not instigating via PM some months ago before he left.

The first time I shot down vDallas, I immediately heard a voice expressing his displeasure without regard for any civility or the rules.

I wish I could remember exactly what I said back to him because I did tune and reply to him.

I do remember that I was nice.

I had heard about the PM Vox thing from him through others many times.

Anyway, I was nice.............and he immediately calmed down, even apologized, we exchanged salutes and even though I killed

him a few times here and there after that, he never complained again and was civil to me.

I'm always nice, everyone here is my friend I hope.

It is your choice when your foe is angry or frustrated and lashes out.

You can escalate the situation, or you can make an effort to diffuse it before it gets worse.

Kill them with kindness :)

Shoulda heard the whines back when he was still in his pony phase but didn't realise the futility of tryign to outrun a higher-E Dora.  Now THOSE where teh golden days/PM-whines!

I prefer Zoney's way.  My PMs, if any, are invariably complimentary and friendly.  People are better than me, they should get credit for that.  "Wag more, bark less".  Not a bad in-game mantra.
