early last month I had an issue with Firefox, hmm.... Asked around, found out it was incompatibility with IE8, rolled back to 7, issue was resolved. Meanwhile I had Firefox installed with Yahoo! and I was getting all sorts of pop ups that I hadnt gotten without Yahoo!. I downloaded the Yahoo! link on accident, so last week I got the urge to uninstall Yahoo! Mozilla, and reinstall the normal Mozilla. Things are good for a few days. Past couple days I can't do a damn thing on firefox or IE. Upgraded to 9, rolled back to 8 and 7, same results. Compatibility is not an issue with the two browsers, and I know this because first off if it was just a version of IE I would have resolved the issue, and secondly the issues are on both IE AND Mozilla. IE crashes whenever I open it, and Firefox gives me the webpage, but there are no icons on the page. Yes I have Adobe Reader. Yes I have the latest version, no I do not believe this is the issue with Firefox, as last month I had the incompatibility. Anywho, thoughts on the issue?
OS is Win 7 Pro.
my Career in IT is budding, work for a larger IT company in my area (if not the largest). Small area where I live.... 49 square miles, 12,000 residents. Feel free to tease me.

Uninstall Yahoo. Uninstall Firefox. Reinstall Firefox. Install Chrome. Install Safari. Install Spybot Search and Destroy. Immunize.

I dont do a lot of cruising on the web so what I do is use a different browser for different things. If one of them acts up I know where the problem came from.

Chalenge, Your a smart man. Had only one issue that Spybot found, but I uninstalled and reinstalled everything on firefox and (knock on wood) it resolved my firefox issues. :rock
