Kind of looks like a Kernel Density test used in avanced GIS. For our purposes we would use the location data collected from animal tracking collars (deer, elk, bear, etc.) and plug the coordinates into the mapping program ESRI ArcMap. The test would produce areas ranging from low to high based on the density of points over the study area. The information could be used to predict the vegetation, topography, and movement periods the animal favors.

You know why the swearing is so high in Southern California?  There is about 3 Marine Corps Bases down here, all three of them being the largest that the Marine Corps has....

That will explain a lot.

it costs next to nothing to get this data, its just a few lines of coad. change the search terms and you can get geo data for pretty much anything, which for marketing purposes is immensely valuable.

Looking at that map gives me bad dreams of supporting Arcview, Claritas Compass, and Mapinfo.

Anyone can make a map or that will suit thier needs by using switching around "median" rather than "average" and other tricks or having small differences show up as large.

My customers were all the news services and magazines in north america and our software "claritas compass" spanned across 38 cdroms.

They finally went to a browser based product.

My main pc at work ran WFW3.11, NT3.51, NT4.0, Win95 osr2, and win98SE.

It's worth noting that the findings here are more a proof of concept than a scientific analysis: The high concentrations of F-bombs are correlated, just as you'd expect, with concentrated populations. These maps are charts of population density rather than, you know, per capita rudeness.

here you go for those who didnt bother to read.  so basically the whole info was just a f#$% away from being a lie.

In Britain we can use any word as a expleative :)

The word "Fetler" is a metal work term but using in the context of describing a individual can be seen in a different light :)

Calling someone a "Tool or Weapon" is also th same. :)

Although not seen as expleatives they do have to same effect and meaning :)

A decsriptive term I heard in Liverpool once was (he is a Clowns pocket) which means he even more stupid than the clown and only worth to be a pocket on said clown. :)

If you want to describe a complete usless waste of space the above descriptive is apt. :)

Any Colonial examples would be welcome for the edification of those in the commonwealth :)

Sometimes swearing in game is very very funny especially when uttered by a angry American, well worth logging on for :)
