Because they are about to become quite valuable when the parts market runs out of spares.
Love the new strat changes...
:salute to the 163's I shot down and vice versa.
The 163s vs 234 over Bish strats was awesome!

So what are the new settings on the strats? Anything that was not in the last update change log?

there were changes made, probably biggest of which is strat city now controls town building downtime.

tons of perks, very little effect on the strats themselves.

:salute I was one of those 163's and it was a great fight. Unfortunately, I RTB'd with kills and the 234 didn't. :neener:

Hahaha yeah, I think out of 6 234's, only 3 RTB'd...
HotDogMn got me, but he had an accomplice... checking film.... Eric19...
Looks like angus was up there too.
We had a good drop on the strats though, was a very fun run.

Absolutely not the case, at least not last night... resupply times for Bish were staggeringly high most of the night. Early on, I dropped on Knit AAA and knocked it down to 66%, which caused Knit AAA to stay down far longer than normal. It stayed that way for hours.
Unless someone is running supplies, pressure on strats now makes a huge difference on the war, and you can see it with the new messages that pop up when you destroy an object... (I.e., Bish Dar factory was at 97%, Base Dar took 33 minutes to come back).

I have been searching the forums for an explanation of this command and what it does... is there one??? :huh

I just checked the .help list. .dt = object name. Typed it with no joy. Maybe after destroying something .dt tells players something they would not otherwise know?

.dt object_name
will tell you the remaining amount of time an object will be down. The object name is now presented in the "destroy" messages from the HOST. You can also look in the Options->Arena Setup->Objects->Destroy Objects and it will show you the list of all the objects.

that was my point.. they are way harder to resupply, but you still get tons of perks for running cargo.
