Hmmm, I went back and read the OP closer. This new .dt command, is it to see the remaining downtime for an object?

yes. dt=downtime

you can type .dt f27twn to see the state of all town buildings of field 27. If you add the number, you can query about one specific building only.

yes, from what i can tell, if it shows a time (something like 1700+ minutes iirc), it means the flag is white.. if it is colored, it says the object is alive.

Confused on country number for strats, is it 1,2,3 or what and how do you know which country is which ?

Also does downtime for bases only work for friendly bases?

Whats the name for city buildings?

It's country numbers 0 to 3, and you will have to do trial and error on each map to find out which number is tied to which country position.

Downtime counter works for ALL bases. Unfortunately IMHO.

City buildings are CIT. You can find out all object name tags by looking at options/arena settings/objects/destroy objects.

For event logs in the Special Events arena,

Country 0 = Bishop
Country 1 = Knight
Country 2 = Rook

I'm pretty sure that's the standard assignment, and should align with the dot command to switch countries too. If using country 0 doesn't work for you, then start with 1 instead.

it must be a map by map thing, because bishops were c03 the other day

Yes, these are the universal country numbers.

However, they can differ from the country numbers in the context of this command, which are besed on the map position a country currently occupies.. And so Rooks can end up on the country 1 map position, just as they are right now on montis. At the moment, Rooks = c01, Bish= c02, Knights = c03.

it would be nice not to have to enter complicate command lines to see the values.

Thanks for the command id's. One of my fav . commands.  Only one I still trying to figured out is the how to check if a cv is up and what the downtime on it is.  I tried a the other day but I am not getting the correct results.  For example let's say the task group is 150. I tried .dt f150fth and it said enabled even when the cv was sunk.

FH's have always been shown as "enabled" when the CV was sunk

use "shp". SHP000 is the CV

You may want to correct the initial post. Bomber hangers are BMH, not BTH.

I don't want to do that, as with your post it already has been  :)

This is very cool, I never knew you could check the down time, figured you just had to manually time things to know :noid. Thanks OP

Just FYI, if you want to find out easily what country number a particular side is, just right click one of their untakeable bases (outlined in red) and choose that bases properties. Whatever "Zone" shows up there is their country number.
