I used to work at Fenton Art Glass as a tour guide. They brought in Angelo Rossi to make glass there for a short time. He did the same thing shown in the video. Pretty amazing. The interesting thing about that technique is the glass doesn't need to be annealed. Here is Angelo Rossi's website.
