Title: Pointer for airplane icon on clipboard map
Post by: bongboy1 on September 11, 2012, 03:30:22 AM
To all those flight simulator or former fs guys, do yall remember the the pointer that came out the nose of airplane on fs navigator?? I'll include an image below, but I thought this would be a good idea when I was constantly having to get up to make course corrections during long flights. I know its kind of a stupid little thing but it would be easy to add n would help out a ton! (http://www.altairva-fs.com/training/images/tools_fsnav.jpg)
See how the pointer comes out the nose of the aircraft.. I think that would save me a lot of aggravation. I just do a lot of afk flying, take off, point the plane, do something else, n come back to the plane being a sector off course because u can't tell which way the damn nose is actually gunna take u beyond half a sector. Next time ur playing n come across this aggravation, think of this.

Or you could look at the compass to confirm you are on the correct heading.
