Looking for it, can't find it, then again I can barely think straight while battling this fever for the last week.

Huge game, if we can't win tonight we do not deserve to qualify.

After all the good saves the keeper made earlier he really should have had that.
Even though he should have saved that free kick it was a deserved win.

I honestly think that luck with the woodwork did about as much as their keeper even though he played an amazing 90. It should have been 2-0 at half. Jamaica's D looked piss poor until the Free Kick by Gomez, where they finally lit a fire under their butts

Little worried about how much the US took their foot off the gas in the second half but a solid win.

That was a great goal by Gomez.

Did you see how intense Geoff Cammeron was?  Now THAT is a centerback!

Cameron looking better and better.  Zusi had a great game too, as Ian Darke must have pointed out 20 times. Darke and Twellman are a great announcing team though. Darke and anybody really.

Torres looks uncomfortable on the left wing though, especially when he tries to come inside. Brek Shea was an immediate upgrade when he finally replaced him.

The knock on Torrez is his lack off speed and stregnth to hold onto the ball in center/playmaking mid.  He is by far the most skillfull player however at the international level, you need the speed and stregnth to withstand physical play.  I think he won't be on the WC team on 2014.

Brek Shea is not really on his game now and needs to step it up otherwise left mid is wide open to Dempsey or even Stuart Holden is he can stay healthy.

Yeah, Torres is having a tough time finding a spot. Attacking midfielder probably best position, but our best team puts Donovan, Feilhaber, Adu or Dempsey in that slot.

Holden's been gone so long I forgot all about him. Poor guy, Bolton would've had a lot better chance of staying up last season if he didn't get hurt. Internet says Bolton hope to have him back in October with any luck. Be too late for this round, but let's hope both he and the US will be around for the final qualifying round.

Shea's still young, a lot of potential there though. And size with speed always helps. But he's been playing out of position as a striker with KC all season though, doesn't help if the only games he plays on the left wing are with the national team.

Adu is too soft to play internationally.

I still think he's a great player at central midfield. Maybe someday he'll prove it.

Cameron looking better and better.
I'm just happy that Stoke City bought him, keeps him from causing me a headache whenever we play Houston, and him playing in the EPL will only make the US better. Sorry for not posting anything in this thread for a while, my older bro got married over the weekend :)

Current Group A standings:

Team/GP/W/D/L/GF/GA/GD/PTS

USA/4/2/1/1/6/4/+2/7
Guatemala/4/2/1/1/6/4/+2/7
Jamaica/4/2/1/1/4/3/+1/7
Antigua & Barbuda/4/0/1/3/2/7/-5/1

So US is dead even with Guatemala and both are leadin Jamaica by goal difference and total goals. Last leg is US playing Antigua & Barbuda (away) and Guatemala (home at Sporting Kansas City's field)
