If you thinks that's ridiculous, you ought'ta see the Arkansas-Alabama game. Bama is up 45 to nothing. I stayed through halftime, but i bailed after the second interception. With a second and third string QB and a wet ball we seemed to lose the football every other series. Defense started out par to my expectations, but quickly got overwhelmed.

John L Smith is out of his depth. Did not help our QB was injured.

Yeah I don't see anyone beating Bama, maybe maybe USC if they play a perfect game.

John L Smith has trouble in the tougher conferences at best hes a mid level conference coach IMO I enjoyed his stay at 'little brother' immensely

How as Latimore looked this year?

UL-Monroe takes Auburn to OT?! They might lose their coach if they keep playing SEC schools this tough.

Lattimore looks like the same 'ol Lattimore. He had 110 yards and two TDs the first game, 40 yards and a TD last week, and 85 yards and a TD tonight.

In my opinion they are saving him for the big games. He's not quite 100% yet, and Spurrier has gone back to more of the "fun and gun" offense that made him famous, giving Marcus less carries per game. He had one stand out run tonight that was cut in half because of a penalty, but otherwise he's been very reserved. He'll break out in the Georgia game with 150+ yards and a few touches. He always seems to do well against Georgia.

Dylan Thompson looks very impressive, although he makes a few bonehead plays here and there. The receiver corps is much improved. Ace Sanders looks much better, maybe he gets some power from Alshon Jeffrey by wearing his old #1 jersey. The defense looks great up front, but the secondary is questionable still. Props to DJ Swearenger who returned a fumble for a 65-yard TD tonight.

I was enjoying the Florida vs Tenn game.  While Tenn has some talent I wasnt expecting their defense to do as well as they did for the first half.  They definitely got gassed in the second half.  Jeff Driskel finally coming along as a QB which is good to see.  Muschamp finally got a win vs a ranked team.    :aok

Overall a good day for college football.  Penn State finally notching a win which is good to see, tired of hearing about the BS penalties they got from the NCAA, not trying to start a political conversation with that statement.  Glad to see Notre Dame got a win as well after what Manti Te'o went through this week after losing his grandmother on Tuesday and his girlfriend the next day after she lost her battle with leukemia and still managed to play this week.  USC upset by Stanford was huge.

Will Michigan make it 4 in a row? Another  last second win? Haven't seen games like the last 3 ever especially love all the smack talk my Irish lovin friends bring before the game and after Dame scores that 2 minute touch down only to see their hopes dashed with last second Heroics from Tate Forcier then Drob.

It's a shame Tate fell apart liek he did.

If you didn't watch the Notre Dmae Michigan game past 3 years this is how they ended.

Yeah I find college ball more interesting than PRO  same for Te'o and all you can say about USC-Stanford is thats why they play the game never know what will happen, look at UL-Monroe  taking Arkansas down then playing Auburn tough.

Tats a good game, also Oklahoma KState has been a good one to watch. UCLA gets beat by the Oregon State and Tennessee is tied with Akron. Clemson is giving FSU all they can handle at the moment.Lots of good stuff on right now, except Michigan Notre Dame, unless you like turnovers.

lolz, not even close.  Big East 3 ranked teams at the moment lead by TCU, meanwhile over in the big 10 we have what, perdue or northwestern as the best team in the big 10?  This nonconference schedule has a complete disaster for the big 10.

Big 10 has 3 ranked teams as well and thats with Michigan dropping out. NW will take there place. Big10 isn't very strong this year but the big east is garbage. Keep dreamin.

#3 South Carolina @ #9 LSU

Carolina is rolling in to Baton Rouge with the highest rank since 1984 for this team. The defense is firing on all cylinders, Conner Shaw is a born leader at QB, and Marcus Lattimore is still the #1 threat on offense.

LSU's offense is disfunctional right now. Mettenberger has not lived up to the expectations. That, plus the starting LT is out, which means a backup will have to face off against Ja'Daveon Clowney. That's terrifying, especially since the LSU O'line has given up a bunch of sacks so far this year.

but.....

South Carolina has not had a deffinitive road game this year so far. They've played @ Vanderbilt, and @ Kentucky. They struggled in both of those games. Now, on the road, in Death Valley, against a top-ten team which is going to be madder than hell after losing last week, it's going to be tough.

South Carolina 24, LSU 17

Yeha that should be a good one.  After  destroying the Dawgs if they get past LSU  it migth be Bama SC for the SEC championship and by default the Nat'l championship.

I see the SEC champ vs. #2 Oregon for the National Game.

For Halloween here in south AR I want to dress up as Coach John "Smilin'" Smith. I think it will be hilarious, but the few reactions I've gotten have been negative because it may be to vague (i.e. no one will know who the heck I'm supposed to be  :headscratch:).

Don't say that. It better not happen. I hate the ducks, and I've never been a fan of the SEC

Yep that was a shocker. The announcers in the Flordia state game even metioned that  Offense wins games but D wins championships. Which brings us to Oregon is there D better this year than the last few years?

Speaking of D big INT for  S. Carolina

Everywhere I've looked this season, not one mention of Oregon State. If they didn't have their first game postponed, they'd be 6-0. Thrashed BYU 42-24 yesterday, making it their best season start since the Battle of Britain happened.

They went from 3-9 last season to ranked #10 before the start of BYU game, beating 2 higher ranked teams on the way there. How come NO MENTION of this at all?

Oh yeah, they aren't in the SEC so they don't get the same positive bias.

I'm happy that Oregon State is off to such a great start. I still think the ducks are the best Pac-12 tran, though.

But....

When's the last time a Pac-10/12 team has won the championship? USC 2004? Ok, now when's the last time a Pac-10/12 team won the championship fairly? :D

There's a reason the SEC gets so much attention. Conference games are brutal, non-conference games are blowouts.
