Title: No damage in lights, even though landed OK, got perks

Just got back from Bish strats. In a fit of vengeance, I targeted ack towers, as I'd done on a previous up.

On the previous run, I landed, got perks, and name in lights said I scored 1500-odd damage.

This time, I landed, got perks, no name in lights.

??? :headscratch:

Pah, forget it. I'd actually gone disco before entering bishland, had this before where disco sorties dont report damage when name should be in lights.

I don't know, I just heard another on channel complain about the same thing.  The difference being, he was in a SBD (not sure if he was able to score as attack or bomber ... if it matters anyhow).  He struck damage to a fleet and then landed without any damage reported.  I asked if he received any perks and he did receive 2 perks.

I can also, recollect instances of being surprised that no damage name in lights hit the text buffer.  So, there might be something other than reconnect in play.

well yeah, if it was scored as attack, it doesnt go name in lights.. currently, only bomber gets name in lights for damage.. there is a recent wish in the wishlist forum that attack get name in lights also, i am neutral on that topic.
