Well, if any of you are willing I just need a quick tip on how to deal with this. Obviously I'm young or I would have just done what needed to be done. Just this is a very touchy subject which people love me for and hate me for. Now in question why they feel these emotions towards me is because recently due to a certain event I made a memorial blog to remember those who died in such event. I can tell you just about every American loved it, however all those anti-american's started swamping me with bad comments, emails and other such cruel words. Even the people who monitored the bloody website started doing it.
Should I delete it so I longer have to deal with this and give in to all the hate. The other option would be take the punches and leave the blog up for those who care about the event. I just need a second opinion on this so I know what to say when those question me why I did what I did and will do. Which is probably delete the whole thing unless asked other wise.

Stand by your words/actions.... you will always have those who will oppose you .. much more prevalent these days with the anonymity of the internet....
even if you blogged about the sun being yellow and the sky blue(as most see it) you will have those with nothing better to do than hate....
So leave it up... it is you and your opinion and this is one of the last free things we have...

I read on yahoo the other day that a young woman who was born with some sort of degenerative body fat disease received a lot of hateful, disgusting messages from idiots calling her "it", a "monster", and urged her to kill herself. Trolling is completely loathesome. I know it hurts because you're getting negativity from something you wanted to be positive, but you can't give in. All the bad ones want to do is breed anger and make others feel as worthless as themselves.

Have you ever heard of the 4-Way Test? I remember a sign on the wall outside my Kindergarten room near the drinking fountain, which asked everyone to consider these four questions before saying or doing something:
1. Is it the TRUTH?
2. Is it FAIR to all concerned?
3. Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?
4. Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?
Not sure how that sign stuck with me all these years, but it may provide some guidance to you. And you can certainly choose to remove material from your blog without abandoning your personal convictions - it is not an either-or choice.

Do what is right for you. As you made the blog it obviously mattered to you.
Just try to think of the commentators whom you disagree with as exercising their freedoms and let it go.

as I was taught, stand for what you believe :old: even if you have naysayers. Most people will respect you more for standing up for what you believe, than just going along with the crowd.
