Title: Allied Celebration Cake
Post by: ROC on September 20, 2012, 12:28:05 AM
Congratulations Allied Pilots!  We accidentally intercepted a High Command Briefing describing the celebration planned for those pilots returning home from the upcoming trespass into Axis territory.  It seems that they have baked a cake for those who come home safely!

The BaconCake!  Yummmmy

Sounds scrumptious.  We have also noticed that the purchase order is for a single cake, and there is still some debate over what to do with the inevitable leftovers, but it's the thought that counts.

No. We smoke bacon with maple or hickory or applewood and probably a few others. Then we pour maple syrup over it or smother it with mayonnaise.

Fixed. :)

Just as long as it gets smoked properly with a side of taters   :devil

Grits and bacon. Bacon and butter beans. Bacon and grilled cheese. Bacon wrapped trout. Bacon wrapped tenderloin.

I think taters are way down the list there.  :devil

There'll be no bacon:
Quote
THE world is running short of pigmeat due to soaring feed costs and supermarket prices that aren’t keeping pace, the National Pig Association (NPA)has warned.

Pig industry leaders -- reported that pig herds are being sold across the world because prices are not rising fast enough in supermarkets to cover current record-high pig-feed costs.

Feed costs have been forced up by drought in soybean producing areas of the United States which has led to massive crop losses.

Not a problem Sir, that cake was made by your Allied command exclusively for the 2 or 3 who might make it home alive.

You can have strawberry if you survive, but our notes didn't show you on the "might make it home" list we uncovered.  I'd get with your command to have you included on the list and put in your request
