Wish they would take that idea that someone on the BB suggested: use the terrain editor to reduce the max height of the map to 10k.
Would take a minute to do and Trinity would improve tenfold. :pray

I think one problem with that idea is that most of trinity's mountains are so high above 10k that the resulting map after taking the chainsaw to the mountains would have vast spanses of plain-flat terrain. And right in the middle/front-lines, where the action would kick-off and concentrate at the start... most AH players like texture/terrain/canyons.

I thought that setting the max height proportionally reduces every altitude. So it would look the same, only much shorter.

Ok it would only improve 9 fold.

The mountains, and everything, would just proportionally reduce in height; it wouldn't just cut off the tops. There is a single number that scales all altitudes in the terrain editor.
