Title: Why are you not credited for kills when you sink a ship.
Post by: ren on October 06, 2012, 09:38:13 AM
When you sink a ship, shouldn't you get the kills for those on
 borad? A kills a kill.

Are you talking about flight crews on borad that haven't taken off yet?  Or someone else on borad...like AAA gunners, or LVT drivers...
lots of those on borad some CVs.  :D  So basically every time you sank a carrier you should get dozens of kills  :lol

I thought of that to. However why is it ok for the gunners to rack up the kills and lands land them when the ship is sunk. I feel if you go throught all that trouble to hit a ship, you should get the kills. :rock

because they get nothing other than name in lights.. gunning doesn't earn perks or score.

Your rigth they should get rid of manned aa  :bolt: Sinking a ship in a SBD on bomber also doesnt get your name in lights, or the damage from taking down a hanger but town buildings will.

sinking a ship in a SBD earns you perks and damage points towards your score.

sinking a ship from a shorebattery earns me nothing, unless i happen to hit a few guys on the carrier deck, then i get name in lights.

killing vulchers at an airbase with a 37mm earns me nothing except name in lights. and my own satisfaction :)

No credit for proxies.

Seriously, sinking a carrier and counting every virtual kill when you do it would be ridiculous.

SYSTEM:  REN landed 1,243 kills in The plane he was flying of the squad he's in.

Imagine if the real guy got shot down by ACK and someone got that for a proxy!  :lol

Seriously, I think you should get a kill for every ship you sink (1 per ship).  Is that the way it is now?

Sink a ship with a bomber and you land points announced by the System.

Sink a ship with a fighter, you'll get nothing and like it.

Although you do get good perk points for sinking a boat with either.  I think it's the highest point value thing to bomb.
