Man, I'm going to hell for that one, :devil

They all Lawyered up by now since a murder charge is a possibility. Before you know it both sets of screwballs will scream "Police Brutality" and some idiot jury will give them millions of their own, and fellow taxpayers, $$$$$.

Your ignorance of what they are all trying to tell you shows you're not interested in trying to improve the grammatical correctness of your signature...

#1) I do
#2) We hoped you would figure it out.
#3) I do
#4) Nothing at all but proper communication eliminates a lot of misunderstanding.

I'm still :headscratch: at the "possible murder charge" thing...

Hmm obviously this was not a phone text issue.
Maybe he missed out on education.

A man died as a result of a criminal action. It doesnt matter if he was shot or died of a heart attack. That would only be a factor in the actual charge leveled at the offender. If the victim was being beaten and had a heart attack the probable charge would be manslaughter. Even if its discovered the fight started by one person punching another for no reason, and the resulting riot caused a man to have a heart attack, the puncher could be charged with manslaughter. "Involuntary" but still "manslaughter". For case reporting purposes it will have been written up as a Homicide. This isnt the first such case Ive personally seen and had to arrest/prosecute.
Involuntary manslaughter usually refers to an unintentional killing that results from recklessness or criminal negligence, or from an unlawful act that is a misdemeanor or low-level felony (such as DUI). The usual distinction from voluntary manslaughter is that involuntary manslaughter (sometimes called "criminally negligent homicide") is a crime in which the victim's death is unintended.

I didnt think you were picking on me I thought you were babbling nonsense that had nothing to do with the thread. <sigh> another one on the list. At least Von Messa was smart enough to ask for info from my 30 years of Law Enforcement experience.
-
evidently reading comprehension isn't included in law enforcement training...even after 30 years.

I understand the definition of manslaughter.
The fellow that died was outside and not part of the melee when he had a heart-attack, therefore, no manslaughter, homicide, etc...
I'm sure ole' Seth Williams would have brought up charges by now if that was the case.

I witnessed him point out the error in the other guys sig. He hardly was playing grammar police.
The other guy still did not understand so he made it even easier to grasp.

He may have still been a part. Or he may have witnessed it. Unraveling that kind of drunken mob fight takes a long time and there is no statuary limit on homicide.
On the other hand the last thing the Philly PD, or my ghetto, wants is another homicide on the books so they may dance around it. On the other, other hand if they have enough evidence they will go for the slam dunk. So much depends on "who" the victim was, what the exact circumstances were, and if the family makes a stink. Still a dead body on the scene is making money for the Lawyers. All I can see written is the victim was a "wedding guest".
Seeing that its all white people no doubt the victim was white, looking at the hotel and the kind of cars parked in the background, and this very well might not be over. There still might be a manslaughter charge.
I hope to Hell Im never in the middle of another of these again.

Bride's uncle.
He went outside when it started, but evidently was pretty worked up over it.
