If you land at a field that is shut down you should be able to launch the same plane, ords depending if they are avalible, and be able to modify the fuel load and armament

i'm almost certain i saw someone very recently wish the exact opposite in regards to rearm pads.. if the base is down, you shouldn't be able to rearm..

i dont care either way.

I'm saying if the ord is down you cannot rearm ords but if you land you should be able to up again, in the same plane

ok, think about it real hard...you land at a base that has been destroyed, assuming you make it past the cap, where is this brand new shiny plane coming from when all the hangars have been blown up?

in case it escaped you, the purpose of shutting down a base is to keep defenders from taking off from it before you can capture it...

     Ok, so destroying the hangars automagically destroys the plane you just landed in?  I'm not sure how you can refuel or re-ammo  it

You park for 30 seconds on the rearm pad that is labeled "rearm" at the end of each runway.

There is some validity to the request.

You don't need a hanger to unjam a weapon, you don't need a hanger to gas it up. You don't need a hanger to top up the oil, or anything like that.


If fuel has been hit, you should be restricted to whatever the limit is. If ordnance is hit, no ord. But I would be absolutely amazed if all of the fuel was kept in only a few places, same with ammo.

     Ah, I just wondered where the fuel and ammo come from if the field is down.

So, they way I read this is:

Disable rearming of fuel/ord/ammo from a field that has been hit? Sure +1 from me!  :devil :devil

I have been doing alot of battleing off of CV's and this is what usualy happens
I take off in a TBM or a B5n and then the base is captured, without me dropping
Then a low set of 26's come in and sink the carrier
Then I land at the new base and tower up
Then the local channle erupts "everyone, we are taking X base and need your help"
And I can't launch....
just a thought..........

not amazed that no one else caught the gist of your op.

again, if the base was destroyed in the process of taking it, where would the brand spanking new plane you want to fly come from?

*answer* a friendly base that hasn't been destroyed.
