On the Hungarian front (souther wing of the Ostfront), there were Tiger2s involved at the siege of Budapest (1944 November - 1945 February), but not in the tank battle of Debrecen (1944 October)

The first King Tigers were seen by the enemy on 18 July 1944, thus deployed to Normandy a week earlier perhaps. The 503rd Heavy Panzer Batallion (s.H.Pz.Abt 503) were the first to have them. They were to hold back Operation Atlantic and fared well in the battle for Caen.

On the Eastern Front, the first King Tigers saw combat on 12 August 1944. Used by the 501st Heavy Panzer Battalion (s.H.Pz.Abt 501). They successfully ambushed up to a dozen T-34-85's.

Keep in mind that at these 2 dates very small numbers were in combat.

P47M

January 1945

Below is from a forum but I found other sources that also listed January  '45:

"the first P-47M arrived @ Boxted* on Jan 3 1945 & was issued to Col Dave Schilling. The first combat with a P-47M took place on January 14 1945 when the 61st's Paul Conger shot down a Bf 109 near Magdeburg, 10 German fighters were downed for the loss of 1 P-47M. A second P-47M suffered engine failure, over the channel where the pilot died from exposure before ASR arrived. The 61st FS was completely equipped with P-47M's by mid Jan. all 108 production model P-47M's went to the 56th FG"

Awesome guys.

So...I have:

P-47M   Jan 1945 (ETO)
Tiger II Aug 1945 (ETO)

Thanks for the references.  To date, I think we have one of the most accurate collection of historical service dates for aircraft.

:salute and thank-you.
