Lol coombz.

I am in Lebanon NH ink, felt it for less than five seconds here but it shook hard. 4.5 in Maine the wife says from facebook, and I guess people in Boston felt it too. Never felt one shake us like that. Dog barked once than the house just started to rumble.

Gotta agree, damn strange feeling. And I always miss them too, but not this time. I can't imagine why anyone wants to live like that in Cali.

First earthquake I remember I taught I had been posessed by the devil, I was 12 years old and had just watched The Exorcist for the first time, I was home alone laying on a huge heavy wood couch on a hardwood floor. It shook very violently. Before the quake, I heared the ground shriek, real ugly sound. Not sure how long quake was but when it was all over our house was split dead center.

End of the world weather??  Dec 21. 2012.  Judgement day. NOT ALIENS (but aliens are real) .  The Lord is coming back for judgement day, no tin foil hat can protect us now, get right with the Lord and repent.

I was sitting on the couch about to watch a movie, wife in the kitchen, when all of a sudden it sounded like a snowplow was coming through the house. It increased to the frequency of a jack hammer, and my wife and I locked eyes with a WTF expression on our faces. Our smallest cat ran to the corner and pulled out a duffle bag and started packing his cat toys, till the larger one ran over to him with a look that said "You fool..you'll give us away!"

Ok, that last part was fake. It was freaky though. It was centered about 35 miles from me. My wife finally did say WTF, and I answered..earthquake. That was her first. I havent felt one for years, and never that strong.

It was relatively shallow. Nothing to worry about or see; move along and be sure to give you cats the proper food for the road trip when they leave.

Coming from California, I don't see what the big deal is about a little ground movement.  If it cleared your cabinets out, well, ok, that's annoying.  Just a little shimmy and shake?  That's just for fun.
