Ouch! But I can see what happened there. I would guess that wasn't the first plane to bounce off that road. You can see the displaced threshold markings on the runway, probably to allow for the slightly raised road. But I'll bet you cannot see that the road is raised while on approach.

So in trying to maximise the use of tarmac on a short runway. The pilot attempted to land short of the official threshold and found out exactly why it was where it is.

No harm done though!
