I was going to post something on this recently, but some smug D-Lord will just come in with:

JERST TERN YER SERND DERN, LOL?!

When I fire up a film, and my system is set on stun already, the resonance cascade can be felt in Nigeria... my dogs do a tuck roll and then just start losing their minds, and my petite little adorable wife that everyone interviewed on the news will someday be all like "But she was the nicest person... I can't believe she killed everyone in the State..." starts cussing like an over the road truck driving alcoholic pirate captain.

I would like the film viewer to not lag and stutter whenever a bunch of new names come into range on the list on the right hand side ;<

Is everything in there taken from your point of view?  That's a really cool movie!  The music is awesome too!

Yeah, so far.  I'm waiting for squaddies to send me film files so I can include them and crop out the parts I don't really like.

I know this is a temporary fix.  but you already know the sounds is going to be loud, so before you press play, use the volume control.  that's what i learned after the first time I played it on my headset.  If it hurts dont do it again.

That is a partial solution semp.  But film view makes it impossible to multitask anything else that has audio.  And it can take a while for the films to start playing if the file is long and you're using camera shots.

that's where your editing software comes in.  I use sony vegas bought it for about 50 bucks.  I can add my own sounds at the right time.  in the movies they dont add the sounds until the end :).

No I meant like if I'm watching youtube while film files are being trimmed down, or waiting to load.

You'll have nothing, and like it.

I agree with volume control within the film viewer, but I would go a step further:

It would be nice if we could have one volume setting in the program for the VOX and another for the vehicle sounds.

There are some great instructional film files created with VOX commentary, but with lots of external engine sounds running it makes it hard to hear the tutorial commentary.

There are work arounds I'm sure but it would be convenient to do it through the film viewer itself, if possible. :pray
