This is NOT just to play Aces High with, again NOT just to play Aces High with. Have I forgotten anything? Wanted to keep it under a thousand and still come away with a decent pc. Before the replies of "better for cheaper" start I was wondering if there was anything else I might need or should be adding to the list of stuff here. Didn't want to go to Best Buy so I went with Newegg. I have a 2GB 560ti in the pc i'm currently using. It will be moving to the living room and become an entertainment pc pretty much. Might swap video cards to whichever one gives better performance. Looking for a 32-35 inch monitor that can do 120 hz. What do you think of the choices and what should I tweak?

Get a better power supply. I'd go with Seasonic,
-

I'd bump the Video card to at least the TI 660. I'm seeing things I haven't been able to see.

Very good cpu - lower-mid range video card - 1050W noname PSU now this is not a good combo...
like the others said:
i7-3770
get a much better video card for that CPU, at least a 660Ti or a HD-7870
A 600W Seasonic will run any system with a single video card perfectly. 700W is for the crossfire/SLI setups. Might be even cheaper than the useless 1050W one - also superb quality.

I have my own copy of win 7. Thanks for the replies fellas!

one thing about the nvidia video cards is that they're creating lower versions with the same number or similar number and you think you are getting the top of the line when you are actually getting a lower version. then 650 that you mention is slower then my my evga 465. which is discountuned and it's about a 3 or 4 year old video card. look here for some references.

Thanks! I have a 560ti in the current pc i'm using. I'm probably going to put the 560 in the new pc and the 650 in the older one. The power supplies and sockets would work for both. I like the comparison thing. They have my older 9600 in there for 50 bucks

ignore the prices, they list them from those who pay them, i think.
