Yea I'm in 2-27 so pretty much I'm in the golden boy battalion. The pictures from there are great but I had to ruck 8 miles up hill to get them.

 Come to Montana and go up the Beartooth Highway, u go from around 6k to 13k+ in about 40min.

You're a little off.  I believe the Beartooth pass is a little under 11K.   I used to drive it about once a month (when it was open)  It is a FANTASTIC drive.

There is no place over 13K in MT, Granite Peak (highest in the state) is 12,800.

Pikes Peak is 14,110ft  paved all the way to the top now. Junky that Alt. without shades is a no no.

Skydiving is on my things to list here in Hawaii.....I'll make sure I have my gopro when I do it so I can take some overhead shots of Oahu :aok

grew up in colorad springs and never drove up pikes peak, but I did jog up it with a couple college buddies :aok
so if its paved do they still do the hill climb??

Von, of course there is a road to the top(NASA has observatories up there)....which we followed.....whens the last time you did a 8 mile road march that was up hill the entire way?

When I had to?  1996, perhaps 97...  but it was 15 miles.  Uphill both ways.

When there was an actual road?  Never.   That's what the jeep is for.    :P

Yes but it is not near as fun to watch.
