Yes it was. At the beginniing it looked like A&M was going to stomp a hole in Alabama. Alabama was able to come back and make a game of it.

Playing only 3 ranked teams, 2 of which in my opinion are not strong ranked teams. LSU is way over ranked and Miss State isnt a top 10 team. Why Alabama falls to #4 in the BCS when they should be much lower is beyond me. Their schedule is weak and Florida and Georgia should be above them at the very least. Losing to a 15th ranked team should have them falling much more when Florida lost to a top 10 Georgia. I also think Notre Dame should be higher than Oregon by strength of schedule.

As for Notre Dame...I just don't see them being the complete package either. We shall see though and playing two teams ranked in the top 10 to date for Alabama and 3 in the top 25. The problem with ND is they squeaked by Pitt in a 3 OT game and got lucky and then came back this weekend and played an awful BC team and only beat them 21-6.

The way the won the Pitt. and Stanford game is a bit weak too .
