Give Midway his game ID back for crying out loud. Bloody schoolchildren.

Midway, perhaps one day you will attain the self-awareness to be your own FPH, or to even to transcend that pattern of thinking altogether. Consider your ways  :old:

I don't think midway deserves his name back yet.

Anyone who gets that attached to a game ID clearly needs to take a good look at his priorities, and anyone arrogant enough to make a post demanding the name be returned to him should be made to wait.

You won't change him by withholding it and bullying is an ugly thing no matter how you present it.

...for two tours...

...just to see if I can get any good at it...

...and eventually apply pwnage to the best P38 pilots in their own ride.  :D

Starting off with the P38J :aok

Quote
"If we divine a discrepancy between a man's words and his character, the whole impression of him becomes broken and painful; he revolts the imagination by his lack of unity, and even the good in him is hardly accepted." - Charles H. Cooley

Expected, sadly.   :frown:

I was in it for 385 sorties.  True, I did not complete my full two months (only about six weeks)... but I had shamed myself related to Top Gun and DrBone.  :cry  I snickerred and disparaged their demise in front of The Few.   I had to hide in shame, as Bruv said my texts were not necessary and uncalled for, to let time heal the self inflicted wound during yet another moment(s) of weakness.   :frown:

It was more important to heal said wound then to add two more weeks of P38J flying.  I flew it often, but admit I did not complete my full two tours due to a higher priority need needing fullfilment. :frown:

Water under the bridge now... :)  Time to have fun in my Spitfire again.

Well this is the end Midway, you failed to see the danger:-

By your own reckoning, once you've shot someone down, regardless of circumstance, you lose all respect for them.

Conversely you only exist in this plane of reality through your worship of Bruv119.

Therefore, your FPH has now fallen below you in your reckoning and you will shortly poof out of existence in a logical paradox like a snake disappearing up his own bunghole.

I'm sorry Midway, someone should have warned you about the danger.

Goodbye midway, Zack and I will miss you at least  :salute

I don't support the stealing and withholding of Midway's name, but to be honest if he was so attached to it he shouldn't have changed it and gone shade-y in the first place *shrug*

He only has himself to blame both for antagonising people and for giving up his in game handle

it could if the 38 stick was good enough and the Ki stick was sleeping :D

actually I am a very bad shot so it is very possible he could take me....in all reality with the time he has in I have no business beating him especially while he is in his plane.....compared to him in time I am still a complete noob.

Beware INK....  AKAK will up at the dueling base, head away from you, climb to about 4k+ alt, then turn around, while you wait in the middle, wonderring why he's taking so long to show.  Then he arrives with substantial speed and energy and attempts to ping your now very low fuel (since you waited for him).

At least that's what he did to me.  As some have said... AKAK displayed a very "limp wristed" approach to dueling.

Nuff said. :bolt:

Oh!  ...and when you are out of fuel and you attempt to ditch your deadstick aeroplane, he comes up behind you, shoots you down, and brags about his "fight".

There is nothing wrong with climbing to duel alt over your field before heading out the middle.  Also, since we both took off using the same fuel load, we have the same amount of flying time.  One more point, you ran out of fuel because I shot your fuel tank, you didn't run out of fuel from flying around.

You lost those fights fair and square and you couldn't take the fact that I beat your bellybutton in Spitfires after claiming you'd "pwn" me in Spitfires thinking I was some new player.  Go ahead and post the link to the thread, it's got the films linked.

... and I was already practically out of fuel waiting on you to show.  As you can see there is almost no fuel trail from my aeroplane after you ping it.  Your dueling tactics are as Bruv describes (or perhaps worse, imho)... and then shooting my deadstick attempting to ditch aeroplane and claiming a great fighting victory is simply silly on your part.   The honourable thing to do is let me ditch it and rematch, but that would be something Bruv or Ink would do... we all can see what you do in the film.

I think I said I wanted to take 50%, but he insisted on 25% for us instead, the whole time planning to go in the opposite direction and gain an E advantage.  I was in Aces High less than a year compared to his 20 or so years experience and rarely dueled in these type of contests so didn't even know what the rules were.  His fighting was limp wristed and certainly does not show any honourable skill or years of experience.  Just a silly 38 pilot flying a Spit9 trying to get an unfair advantage on a then newb -- and still couldn't get a clean kill.   :rofl  :rofl

You can see what he took in the film by just clicking on his plane in the right menu (that shows the list of planes in flight).  The fuel agreed upon was 25%, even at 50% he couldn't have run out of fuel before me.  The only reason he ran out of fuel in the fight was due to a burst to his fuel tanks.  Watch the film in external view and you can see the fuel empty out.  there was no cheating or "unfair" game play on my part.

Going in the opposite direction to climb and get a 50mph E advantage is not right.  Then shooting a deadstick out of fuel aeroplane without saying "that wasn't a good fight, let's go again" is less than honourable on your part.  You know it.... deny all you want, but in your heart... you know it. :ahand

Ask yourself again why Bruv called you out and described it as limp wristed.  Others agreed.  You know it. :ahand

Is it not somewhat "unfair" to claim you are a new player when entering a duel with a player for the first time?

That was one of Midway's claims here, that you duped him into thinking you were new.  Then again, Midway has claimed many things over the past two years that aren't true.

The funniest part of this is that you two are still squawking over it a year and a half later.  Lolz at both of you.

OK. So you did your best to convince someone you were a new player before going into a duel with them.

It's too bad you didn't use this deception to secure a film of bleeding poor Midway out of E as he continually tries to pull nose on, allowing you to get his six.  That may have been more instructive beyond some cheap forum amusement.

Don't lie Midway, you didn't challenge me to the DA with the attempt "help a new player" out.  You challenged me after you were talking smack to someone and I called you an "experten" and then you started to hunt me and got shot down.  You then challenged me after one fight when you dove past me in the merge, compressed and augered.  The duel challenge was you pick the first plane (you refused otherwise) and then the winner of the fight picks for the next sortie.  After you lost the first duel, you refused to fly any other plane that wasn't a Spitfire and to keep you from running out of the rest of the fights I agreed to keep the fights in Spitfires.

Why do you keep insisting on lying?  It's just like your lie of "upsetting Bruv" that caused you to "quit" your challenge to fly the P-38 for a couple of tours.  You didn't auger because you were talking to me, you augered because you screwed up, compressed on the merge and augered in and got mad.

I don't know why AKAK circled the field...never done that myself or anyone I have dueled as far as I know.......but I don't see that givin him a E advantage or any advantage what so ever.....he was faster because middy never went up to the ALT limit...thats on him not AKAK.....and he hit the deck at icon range, middy didn't try to get below him.

How is circling the field to agreed upon alt going to give you any advantage?
If they both upped with same fuel load out then there is no way he ran him out of fuel because the same would have happened to him (AKAK)
As for midway calling AKAK limp wristed I think that is thew pot calling the kettle black. LOL guy hides in a spit for almost his entire annoying aces high career and 90% of that time he was hoing everybody

AKAK is being incredibly patient, there must be something in the water.

So far I have seen him get accused of being scared to fight. Then when he offers to fight he gets told that his terms are unacceptable. Then when he offers again to duel as long as it is in the same planes he gets told that it was all a joke and the fight is actually not wanted. Seems a bit like callout>receive offer>back down. I respect you Ink but I think you could have showed a bit more honour and courage after the initial call out. Your original callout now has even less credibility than it started with.

As for you Midway, tsk tsk, you just seem to be looking for another passive aggressive war of words with no visible end and no obvious substance. But that is no suprise.

You should both count yourself lucky that AKAK has even bothered to reply to you with this kind of rubbish.
