Title: 3D TV
Post by: Wayout on November 16, 2012, 08:36:01 AM
Just got my first look at a 3D TV and all I could think was Bay Watch came out about 12 years to early.

3D is way to squealing annoying.  I can't stand 3D movies and the cheap glasses, annoying effects.  Maybe the focus should be on a good story and good film making, not novelties.  No way I am going to do that crap at home watching tv.

Can't help but think you guys have been looking at passive 3D, try the active 3D for better resolution.
Using passive I get a headache after about 30 minutes but nothing like that using active glasses.
Using active 3D you can also put it to virtual 3D while watching your regular shows( I do it for sports),
this way you can get a slight 3D effect not as intense as the movies that are made in 3D.

Yeah, active 3D is the way to go if you're going to go the 3D TV/monitor route, though I still think 3D TV/monitors at this point are still nothing more than a gimmick to sell TVs.
