I was just looking at a couple of thos 747s a couple weeks ago, sitting outside of Mojave as I sped past.  They're tied down now.   :rofl

The video lists the reasons as wind and its lack of engines, but what is also likely and a major contribution is that most the forward interior was also likely stripped and removed from this plane.  I found out a couple months ago that the only things of notable value for resale (that are worth anything) are the stewartess stations, buisness and first class seats, the cockpit and avionics, and the like.  Coach seats and the like (all in the back)aren't worth more than scrap and will likely remain there until that phase of this airframe's life.
