So what if they had 50,000 tanks... 49,000 of them would probably have crashed before reaching the border!
:huh :rofl

I liked that one. Where but in Russia you get a tank (BMP), a military helicopter (Mi-8) and an attack jet (Su-24) in a dashcam compilation video :D.
The same video in Youtube:

You should fear them for the same reason you fear zombies. Some may lose a head and a leg but others keep coming.

00:45 - Wow.... Fn idiot in the truck, and probabley the most hysterical thing I've seen all week, after rear ending the car infront of him hard enough to catapult them through the crosswalk and then finaly comming to a complete stop infont of the crosswalk, the dum!@## pedestrian then WAVES TO THANK HIM FOR YIELDING!?!?! :huh
07:39 - Let us not worry about their new stealth fighter, let us worry about the wheeless cars!
08:27 - WHY you NEED a dashcam in Russia.
-
With the sirens and the red hood I think that truck was a fire truck.
-
Pause at 4:17 - fire from the sky :D
-
01:05 radio blaring "Don"t stop me now!" - CRUNCH!! :rofl
-
That is hilarious! The best is the guy with the pistol sending rounds after the car that almost hit him while the people in the car duck lol. Wonder what insurance rates are like there :rofl
-
They do seem to drive faster than the limits of their brakes and skill don't they?
-
A friend spent several months in Russia... He said drunk driving isn't the exception, it's the rule....

I'm not surprised with driving like that, it's probably for the nerves! :old:

That was my favorite too lol

I'm not an expert or anything, but do the cops not give a single chiz about what these people do on the road?
I'm not worried about their army, that's predictable. If those guys wanted to win a war, they'd send their drivers in.
-
LOL! Cant wait for GTA V :D

One can always drive in Texas where it is safer, not.

The police? They get torpedoed at 8:27 :lol

wow, lots of freewheeling tires :rofl and whats up with the power lines down in the road?? :O would hate to live there with drivers like that

Sure its, just like bears walking on the streets of Moscow is not uncommon. Your friend is full of crap. :rofl
-
That's exactly why you feared these guys. If they're like that in cars, what are they like in tanks? In fact we know, ask the Germans!
There is another compilation from dash cams which I saw recently. Far more horrific, some really bad crashes. This video is tame in comparision.

No, he was dead on. Russians have a huge alcohol problem and they don't mind drinking while driving. Not even when they're driving out of the country.

Is it law that everyone has to have a camera in Russia?
I am just amazed how many videos there are.
Does anyone in the States have a dash cam besides the police? Why do all of these people record their driving - for insurance purposes?
:headscratch:

I know quite a few people in the U.S. who have dash cams. I'm actually planning on getting one during tax time.
Speaking of a good dash cam recording - here is one that very few people would have believed if it hadn't of been on tape (WARNING: Deer dies. If you can't handle this...idk why you're OK with killing cartoon people on AH ;) )

I imagine if everyone had dashcams, most countries could produce enough examples of horrific driving for a compilation. I have a 45 mile drive to work most days, some of the driving I see on a daily basis is simply shocking. Coupled with the venison dodging I do twice daily I am considering making my own video of a weeks mundane drive to work and the Aamount of road users in a little world of their own
-
From what I hear it is difficult to get car insurance in Russia if you don't have a dash cam. Too many insane "accidents".

Cost and availability. This isn't anything new in Russia, the bad driving that is, but because of insurance(costs and frequency of claims) and legal reason they've become madly popular.
Same with motorcylists that commute here in SoCal and with their insurance within the past 5-years, the technology and availability/cost is right, and with the way the roads are they very very quickly pay for tripple their weight in gold to insurance companies and motocyclists to have a helmet mounted/built-in digital camera (from bentleys not signaling or looking before a merge to cops giving bad tickets - I've seen some videos, the best are the ones that show the other driver's reaction after they're informed it's all on camera).
