Title: New Clouds

The new thicker, more realistic clouds are they a new update or do they come and go?  Real nice addition anyway.

Every time a Brewster dies, the newer better looking clouds appear. Every time one gets a kill, they disappear :angel:

They adjusted the clouds in the MA... I forget... maybe 6-months ago?  I haven't noticed it much lately, maybe it was just a fluke (a few others noted it seemed to conentrate around ports and coastal bases), but for a while it was really nice how the thicker and lower clouds seemed to be concentated around ports and coastal locations.  It might of gotten scaled back recently though, it was both cool and not-cool to discover the enemy CV and it's puffy ack imediatley off-base without ever seeing it through all the clouds.  I haven't recalled any more "sneaking up" on me recently.

Clouds are built into the terrain. Cloud files can also be uploaded to override the default built-in clouds; we do this in special events. I would hazard a guess that some terrains were re-compiled by HTC with the new cloud types to let us see them. It would seem though, that not many terrains were updated with new default clouds.
