It would be nice to set the clock so all plane's cockpit clocks you use would be the right time.
-
I think they are set to game time, not real time. You might be flying at 8 at night at your house, but in game It's noon. The clock would show 12 noon.

Yep, in offline arena change the game time and watch the clock move. My favorite though is the midnight hour! :aok

Fugi is right. The cockpit clocks (and the clocks in the tower) are set to game time - whatever time it is in the arena. It makes sense; everyone has a standard time reference to the time that the action is taking place in the arena. Every arena can be (and is often) a different time. There is even an arena setting for a speed multiplier for the clock; it's generally always set to 1 so every real-world minute equals an in-game minute.
Think of how tough it would be to have a mission set up to take off at 13:00 (or coordinate efforts) if everyone's game clock is showing a different time because they are all in different time zones across the world...

Game time does make a lot of sense of which I had not thought about.
Thanks for the information guys. I withdraw my wish then.
