These are some Hurricane skins I did shortly after doing the default ones. They are mainly targetted at being useful for special events but should be popular in the MA too.
This is a 73 Squadron Mk I as flown by New Zealand ace "Cobber" Kain during the Battle of France. Kain was the first RAF ace of WW2 and had achieved 17 kills by the time of his death in June 1940.
This aircraft had fabric wings which I have represented on the skin. Many of the more interesting Mk I schemes had fabric wings so I wanted to get a template done with this effect. The underside has an unusual scheme. Early Hurricanes undersides were painted in silver dope. Later an ID scheme of one black and one white wing was adopted. In this case half the aircraft was painted black, but only the other outer wing white.

Next is another Mk I from 260 Squadron based in the desert in 1941. This has a mid stone/dark earth/sky camo scheme.

Another desert based Hurricane, a Mk IIB of 73 Squadron. This one is mid stone/dark earth/azure blue. The arrow artwork was based on the squadron's prewar markings and varied in colour on different aircraft, possibly based on which flight they were in.

This Soviet Hurricane Mk IIB from 609 IAD was shot down in April 1942 by Finnish fighters. The Finns took some good photos of it where it belly landed in the snow. This aircaft has the standard grey/grey/green RAF scheme but with Soviet markings, patriotic slogans and a wolf painted on the tail.

Finally a Hurricane Mk IIC from 34 Squadron based in India in 1944. This is dark earth/dark green/grey with the no-red SEAC style markings.

Is that the Hurricane 'Cobber' Kain was flying when he crashed doing a victory roll as he left France for the UK?

I don't know if that's the Hurricane Kain was flying when he died, but it seems likely.

I thought the Indian ones were sea grey and dark green.

The SEAC Hurricane Mk IIs usually arrived in theater in the factory applied grey and green, unless they were transferred from the middle east. Sometimes the grey was repainted dark earth and sometimes not. As you say the Indian AF aircraft were generally left grey and green but this is an RAF aircraft based in India. The photos of it had a less marked difference in tone between the two upper colours than other Hurris and I took that to mean it was dark earth and green.
