Title: Global message size

I had my message box set to go from 3 lines to 15 lines, now all it does is turn the box off and on.
How did I foul this up and how can I get it back to what I want?
I already tried a complete install and that didn't work. And then I thought about it and figured that everything I saved before deletion, I re-installed with the settings folder. Therefore I'm back to square one.
I'm wondering if I should delete and re-install again but without saving anything and having to remap all my controls and views.
Has this happened to anyone else ?
