Today marks the 71st anniversary of Pearl Harbor.
:salute To all who served.
Here's a story of a 91 year old survivor that helps ID the dead.
Many were unidentified and buried in a Volcano after the attack.

Just so you know, "buried in a volcano" is a little bit misleading. The Punchbowl Crater was formed something like 80,000 years ago. The park and cemetery inside it are quite beautiful.

Indeed. A person can look up all the photos of the "punchbowl" but they can not really appreciate the beauty and sacredness of the ground until they are able to actually be there. It is amazing.
