No, it was just a joke about how the plane feels "low and slow"

Well in that case I think the Jug is still the space shuttle of all aircraft in MA. I've out ran a 262 at ground level, out turned him too.

Post by: W7LPNRICK on December 15, 2012, 05:49:11 PM: remember it's a friggin huge single-seater...I believe the largest of WWII....so It will have potentially less acceleration than a lot of smaller lighter birds. IMO it can out dive anything in the MA, full throttle & nearly straight down as attested by real WWII aces. when we could see GV's from 6K it was the only bird I ever bomb****ed from. it the old map I loved it.
