Title: cannot get back in game

I received an error message that the high resolution textures have not downloaded.  Was told to double click on HRP 2284 TO2290.EXE which I did and restarted game.  I now get initiation failed with-9 manWLD-failed-1.  Now what do I do?

Did the initial update install with no problem?  That error is one of the game's base files is corrupt or didn't get updated.  The best way to fix it is to download the base and install it right over the top of your existing installation.  You don't need to uninstall.

I also had this issue... I installed via the automatic updater.. Flew around for about 15min (love the clouds) but then my system randomly shut down (not normal). When I finally got it started back up I received the same error as the fellow above. odd??

Currently re-installing the base and will post on outcome.

I went the uninstall and then reinstall route.  I had been getting a mirror image on the instrument panel and was hoping it would go away.  It didn't on the reinstall

The mirror image is not a bug. Open Clipboard, Options, Graphic Detail, Advanced. Untick Bump Map.
