For pro-gaming, extensive gaming, yes. Casual? No.

I have an Alienware headset now. I was gunning for Razr but they were $10 more + shipping.

My pleasure.  I'm on my 2nd pair of these, only because I accidentally snapped the first pair when I rolled a chair over it.

My pleasure.  I'm on my 2nd pair of these, only because I accidentally snapped the first pair when I rolled a chair over it.

I've owned 1 pair of these and when I rolled my chair over the cord and broke them I got another set but the next model up,think they were about 60 bucks and they worked great for a couple years until I yet again broke this set too.

So I went and bought a set of sennhieser's and have been very careful with them so far..... :o

The plantronix are made by altec lansing so they are good value for the $$$

      YMMV.
