Two engine'd plane (for example it was my 410) egressing from an ack run on a field; the town is to the right of me as I pull away on a slow incline, take a single AA hit on the lower rear right quarter, seemingly just under the wing. BAM! Passes right through the oil compartment of that engine, and then right through the other side of the plane into the other engine as well! Taking out both the radiator and oil of that one, with my high rpm and WEP: Making its poor life mere seconds.
In all my time I've never seen something like that happen, is it even possible with the current modelling?

I would think that lead flying into steal would cause pieces of steel to fly in every direction, making for the chance of virtually anything getting hit. From what I was told about the 410 last night, it's very fragile when hit with rounds anyway.

Nope. Never lost both engines or engine support fluids to the same hit in the Mossie.

I find these reports quite exaggerated, especially in comparison to other planes (Ta"radiator"152) ;)
My 410s so far did not show more vulnerability to bomber gunner hits than other planes of that size.
