If something has to happen, thats honestly how I hope happens. Why? All the stupid people will be the first to go, because, well, they're stupid. And its probably the most survivable appocalypse scenario for anyone competent.

No. It is said to end on the specific date and time in MAYAN (central American time) time so all other locations are relative to that. They get to live mostly a day longer and die in their sleep :D :rofl
