Title: A good xbox360 first person tactical shooter for single player?
Post by: Xjazz on December 24, 2012, 07:16:45 PM
Hi!

Any proposals for a good xbox360  first person tactical  shooter for single player mode?

I  like a Operation Flash Point (original) and Rainbow 6: Raven Shield (1.&) type of games.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Currently playing Farcry 3. It's like Fallout New vegas, Borderlands, Rainbow 6, and  Grand Theft Auto all in one. The Islands are huge there's lots to do, you don't have to drive EVERYWHERE, and a lot of animals as well. I thought i'd try it since i skipped part 2 but looked at it on youtube and it caught my interest. Rainbow 6 Patriots comes out soon but it looks like BOII with the seeing through objects bs.

Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising is a nice tactical and quite realism based title you might like

Thanks for the PIREP - I got Far Cry for my little brother for Xmas and he bought a copy for me. I haven't gotten a chance to play it yet.

Hi

So, I went today to the gameshop and a found used Dragon Rising game.

The disc was perfect and all papers were inside the case. Only a 8.5€ with warranty.

I tried it and it looks, sounds and feels good.

But

I really don't like the xbox controller.

I found from the net a different kind of mouse & kboard emulator(?) and adapter to connect your pc mouse & kboard to the xbox.
http://www.google.com/search?client=ubuntu&channel=fs&q=xbox+mouse+controller&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8

Anybody use these kind of gadgets with xbox?

Thanks

flash point is awesome . I loved the online play . Used to team up snipping with other brits , one as spotter other shooter then swap when ammo runs out .

OpFlashDR has terrible online servers for Xbox360. The offline play is pretty good though. Watch out for the menu music, it'll make your ears bleed.

I love LA Noir.  It's more than FPS though.
