Title: Train rolled my g.v
Post by: remy1dog on December 28, 2012, 12:09:55 PM
I was in a tank with rockets setting under the train bridge at the strats. When the train went over the bridge it rolled me a couple times..

Pretty sure I was the C-47 pilot that bailed and fired my .45 at you whilst you were under that bridge. After that supply train passed, you were gone. I started walking around to find you and saw you off in the distance upside down and walked over. Tried to fired my .45, which I was positive was empty, while up 'close' and heard a boom and was in tower. Thought maybe you fired a tank round and I got fragged by it.

What they need is the map and location.  Checking ..........

EDIT:
Which is the Compello map, country on the left or west side of the map when the factory complex is forward.  The complex is down a hill looking W to E and where the train tracks are on the top of the hill the first bridge west from the crest of that hill.

I could probably conjure up a screen shot of the area if that would facilitate things.

remy1dog, if I may ask, how did you get there?  :)

Ya know, I went to LW and same map was up so I took a goon over to resupply strats and get a screen shot of the bridge. It looked different than I remembered with the train coming in from the south and not the west as I recalled. There didn't seem to be the same ridge line either.

I'm

Your being towered while on foot occurred because you got within collision distance while he was moving.

The sim will often flag an overturned vehicle as "moving".

IIRC there was no collision message but not sure if one would have been issued under these circumstances.
