Title: Trim Moving by Itself
Post by: Rayon on January 04, 2013, 10:19:17 AM
Over the last few days I've noticed that during manual flight in buffs and a few other A/C, my rudder trim goes all the way to the right.  I'll reset the trim with the auto pilot and combat trim modes, touch a different trim button (elevators) and the same thing occurs with the rudder trim.

I'm thinking it may be a key mapping issue, but any help would be appreciated.

Thank you

Only the rudder trim does this?

Yes, only the rudder trim.  If I hit the left trim button, it still doesn't budge.

I also have it set to a button on my throttle stick, so it may also be related to the stick.  I was just seeing if this kind of thing has occurred to anyone else (troubleshooting while at work lol)

I troubleshoot at work, also.

I know a certain amount of rudder is needed to correct for engine torque.

Try unmapping from joystick, see what happens.

Will do and I'll let you know what it was.  I know it's something really minor.

Only change one thing at a time :)
