Title: Video cards for sale
Post by: Dace on January 04, 2013, 11:56:12 PM
I have an Nvidia Evga GT620 (card only) that came in my wife's computer. I replaced it as soon as we got it so it's practically brand new. First $15 buys it. I'll pay shipping.

Also have an ATI/AMD MSI R6670 (original box and disk) that I just replaced out of my computer. Used it for about a year and a half. Great low budget card that runs AH pretty darn well. $35, I'll pay shipping.

Or buy both for $40.

Here is a write up on that card, from EVGA themselves, it really isnt a gaming card but mainly used to enhance watching videos.

Yep that's why we replaced it straight away. Not good for games. Tis why I'm parting with it for so little money.

For someone who wants to put together a server to stream to a television/monitor/etc, that GT620 is a good deal.

What would be the lowest end card to run AH full out for both Intel and AMD processors types if the rest of the PC was not taken into consideration, because lets say it was way more than needed.

If that makes sense.  :headscratch:

AH isn't all that demanding on the GPU unless you feel the need to go 8x anti aliasing and all that, which IMO, is pointless. So a mid range card should be enough. A Radeon 7870 would be more than enough for AH for at least the next 5 years.
