After last weeks game against the Redskins, Toni Romo was so upset that he threw his helmet.
It was intercepted as well. :bhead

In all honesty, why does Tony Romo get bashed as much as he does? He carried the Cowboys the last couple weeks of the season into the playoffs. Hes still a top 12 QB in the NFL. He was down to his 3rd and 4th WRs against the Redskins with Bryant and Austin injured and Witten is on the decline. The past couple years the defense was average at best and the OL was absolute garbage. There was no such thing as a running game this season as well when Murray went down. The guy can only do so much and because he is in Dallas, he is scrutinized heavily. Anything less than the NFC championship every year is a failure.

If anything I pity Romo. His bad luck and his boss, he cant catch a break. He did nail a cutey though, so I guess it aint all bad.

Romo has too much Favre DNA, that much is for sure. Favre was a gunslinger with a powerful arm. Romo is a gunslinger with a slightly above average arm. He needs to get that Wisconsin upbringing out of his system. Favre sucks anyway. :lol
That said, this season, and the bulk of the blame for the last Redskins game WAS NOT his fault. Tony Romo is not Peyton Manning of Tom Brady. You cannot expect him to throw the ball 45+ times a week and win consistently. I understand Murray and Co. were hurt a good portion of the year, but even when they were healthy, the play calling was just stupid and one sided.
