Thanks, Jaeger, a lot of nice planes in a too-small space.

What were the boxes on the goon's wing?

WOW! It's been a while since I was there. It looks like they have added a bit since then. I'm glad my donation went so far!  :D

Great pics, thanks for sharing.

Was the B-25H still there? It used to be where that A-26 is now

They moved the B25H, the A26 is there now. The A26 has a glass nose but that was only a mock up, the real strafer model nose was still under going restoration.

Nice pics. That yellow glider, a Pratt Reed LNE-1, was restored and flown by my dad prior to the Vintage Sailplane Association donating it to the  National Soaring Museum which, being short on space, lent it to NEAM.

Been there for open cockpit day. Thought it was only for kids but they let the adults sit in some of the planes also. Another place to visit is the American Airpower Museum in Long Island. They have fully restored operational aircraft which fly on a regular basis. They have a P-40, P-47, P-51, TBM and Corsair which are always in the air. They also have aircraft come in from other locations. Last year they had a Spit IX come in for the weekend as well as a Lancaster Bomber. They also have some other cool stuff like a Sherman Tank, an M-8 and an M-3 which are fully operational. The best days to go are Memorial Day and Labor Day weekends. Check them out at: americanairpowermuseum.com.
